This pendant is made from 10,000 year old fossilized Columbian Mammoth tooth and sterling silver. Each tooth is found personally by the artist while scuba diving off the gulf coast of Florida. Once found, each tooth is stabilized, sliced, and formed into polished stones. Every tooth is unique, and each cut and setting is made to highlight it's most beautiful features. These necklaces are truly one of a kind.
This stone is very unique. It came from a tooth that was about 40% complete and has very prominent bright white enamel bands with blue edging. It was stabilized in clear resin prior to cutting to retain the natural color.
This is a statement piece and does well with both the silver chain and the leather cord.
