This pendant is made from 10,000 year old fossilized Columbian Mammoth tooth and sterling silver. Each tooth is found personally by the artist while scuba diving off the gulf coast of Florida. Once found, each tooth is stabilized, sliced, and formed into polished stones. Every tooth is unique, and each cut and setting is made to highlight it's most beautiful features. These necklaces are truly one of a kind.
This tooth was about 60% complete when found. Much of the has white sections, however in a lower area by the side there was some very tight banding with beautiful blue lines and intricate patterning.
It was stabilized in clear resin prior to cutting to retain the natural color.
